LEGEND SOCCER COMPANY
Do you like soccer (or, as the rest of the world calls it, football)? Dirk does in a big way, and it has become a family affair.

Dirk's son Roland and 2 friends have started Legend Soccer Company,  developing innovative, sustainable soccer gear (and only soccer gear). Learn about Legend Soccer Company at the link above. Dirk not only endorses Legend Soccer, he's involved with it - "and not only because Roland is my son."

Default Long time no see. anyone remember me?

I been away awhile. my father passed away and i've been trying to deal with that. last time i was in here some of the ladies here was talking about the monkees. or and we had game started about trying to get dirk lol. i can't imagine what he must have thought of that one., i just love too see peoples imaginations go. so what this about dirk doing columbo? who said he was peter falk? lol i want to see this new a-team movie. i read some wheres dirk wasnt happy his part was so small in the movie. isnt that always the way cameos are. a blink and theor gone moment. least they rememberd the orginal cast. no one can ever replace the orginal faceman. been watching a lot of a-team recently . their so funny and really cheering me up.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss - and sorry that I didn't peak around the website a few months ago to see this when you first posted this. I know how painful this loss is. I pray you will be filled with peace and comfort that will take you on the path to heal.

Julie

Interesting to read what she says about her "ex boyfriend/ex husband"

I found a lot of what she wrote to be strangely familiar - like, didn't I read those exact words a few years ago in another book by someone else...

(Hey, I just got home from work - I can be catty... )

I couldn't help noticing the writing "style" to be quite similar.
Shades of "deja vu".
I don't think I'd care to read this one, since it seems I already have the "original"

Emily, sorry, probably my fault, perhaps not the best place for me to have posted it.

I don't know if you know that Toni Hudson was married to Dirk, she's the mother of 2 of his boys, George & Roland & features greatly in his 2nd book "And Then We Went Fishing". I apologise if you already knew this. I just thought it was interesting how the style of her book was so much like Dirk's, something that others here have already commented on also the part about her ex (Dirk) is towards the end of the free 1st chapter. Again I'm sorry if I've told you something you already knew. I hope I've not offended you as it was not my intention. xx

Oh dear. Please, please, please tell me his books at least were edited by a professional. I have his books on my shelf and have not read them yet, but if the grammer on the is sample chapter is any indication of the writing quality then I fear I will have to post them on Half.com.

My kid's 6th grade English teacher would have used page 1 as a "Find all of the grammer mistakes exercise."

Get them off the shelf and read them - you'll then want to read them again and again!

I know, I know but you have to realize that I own 55,000 lbs of books (obviously a very large portion of moving expense.) So many books, so little time. If they aren't on audio maybe he can come and read them to me.

Thanks for the condolences. I'm not sure what Dirks ex-wife has to do with my post though. You get through one crises you get another. my mother got in car accident and was hit by a drunk driver. She is ok. She may have to get a new car though. I swear it is one thing after another. Eesh!
