LEGEND SOCCER COMPANY
Do you like soccer (or, as the rest of the world calls it, football)? Dirk does in a big way, and it has become a family affair.

Dirk's son Roland and 2 friends have started Legend Soccer Company,  developing innovative, sustainable soccer gear (and only soccer gear). Learn about Legend Soccer Company at the link above. Dirk not only endorses Legend Soccer, he's involved with it - "and not only because Roland is my son."

I told you you needed a shoutout, so I decided Dirk needed to know too. If you hadn't thought of the idea, this might not have happened. Hey if you do get famous, I'll send you a pm with my address. Maybe I'll even have a list of questions to ask you too at that time

Yes, you totally deserved a shoutout.

I just realized I wanted to ask him about U.K. Celebrity big brother, too (maybe next time!)... I'm sure he's been asked that a lot though. What must it be like to have your every waking moment televised, while living in a house full of crazy people? Lol

I wonder if this little exercise will rekindle Dirk's interest in real time, off-the-cuff writing and he will consider writing another blog. I really enjoy his writing style but I don't want to direct the subject matter.

I would like to see him choose the topics he's interested in... maybe based on current events and pop culture... That would be fun to read.

That is a good question, but your other questions were good questions too. Decisions, decisions... Maybe we can start a black market of paying other people to ask our extra questions if they don't have three of their own.

That would be awesome. If this Q&A movement turns out to be as successful as it looks, maybe we can start a blog movement next.

BTW, kudos to Zania for being brave enough to ask the fan fiction question. You go, girl!

Aw, thanks!! I'm looking forward to his answer to your question about flying. Seriously, how cool would it be to actually fly the plane for a movie! And it's so funny how in the A-Team Dwight "piloted" all the planes and Dirk just sat next to him and watched. Talk about irony.

Yeah, I always thought that was funny. And in the 'Belly of a Boeing' episode, they make Hannibal the pilot! Dwight took an intro flight but I think he quit because his wife was nervous about it. Flying isn't as dangerous as people think... you just hear about the bad stuff on the news, but statistically, there are very few accidents. Even with the single-engines. And there's nothing quite like it... I always wanted to fly a seaplane and land on a lake. Met an Alaskan bush pilot once who would take off from a lake and track herds of caribou, radioing down to the hunters with their location (totally cheating!)

I wonder if Dirk is still considering publishing another book. He's mentioned that in several interviews too. Maybe he'll address that in his answer to you.

George actually had a pilot's licence. Haha

I have decided to take an introductory lesson next year if finances let me.

Did he? I never knew that!! I'll admit I have done much more homework on Dirk and Dwight than the other two.
