LEGEND SOCCER COMPANY
Do you like soccer (or, as the rest of the world calls it, football)? Dirk does in a big way, and it has become a family affair.

Dirk's son Roland and 2 friends have started Legend Soccer Company,  developing innovative, sustainable soccer gear (and only soccer gear). Learn about Legend Soccer Company at the link above. Dirk not only endorses Legend Soccer, he's involved with it - "and not only because Roland is my son."

Ok. I might go to this one. It's close enough I can drive to it. The timing is pretty good as I can have my taxes paid before taking the time off.

I'll be joining you. Missouri, here I come. I'm so looking forward to that giant arch. Do they allow rides on it? I'd love to slide down from the top. Looks like it would be fun. Who's with me???!!!!!

It's a three and 1/2 hour drive from Kansas City to St. Louis, though! But I do have friends in St. Louis... and as I interned there, I can recommend all the good brewpubs.

I will buy my tickets today for the convention but I may have to wait on the flight and hotel for now. You know, it's funny, I can't help get Grapes of Wrath out of my head. Not entirely sure if Missouri is considered part of the dust bowl. I had to explain to a coworker the book. She too had more Shakespeare than any other literature in high school. I read the Grapes book afterwards on my own. After college even. But I digress.....LOL. I'll get the tickets this weekend and I look forward to meeting Dirk finally. <3

I'll let you know about the hotel. You'll have to let me know flight, so I can pick you up at the airport. Also, what do you want to eat? If I'm driving, I can pack cooking stuff. Will definitely have water in the car. And probably a cooler or two. And it's in summer, so I don't have to dazzle you with how I do my 180s while driving. I'll try to stay out of the ditches, too.

I was so looking forward to 180s. Darn. Thank you. This will be fun. I will definitely let you know well in advance. I'll need to know what airport is closest etc. We'll be talking.

Lmao. They're just not the same without ice. (Referring to the 180s)

Plans are being discussed. Reservations are being made. This should be fun
Now, we just need to figure out what we're eating and how much we need.

How much we need? Food or money? LOL. Well, I'm betting that it's cheaper than massachusetts. MA is expensive but hey, who knows? As for food, who knows that either? In any case, it will all come together, I'm sure.
