Hello everyone!
How is everyone doing?
I'm so busy these days! My brother is visiting from Ottawa and that has been great!
My mom was moved while we were away on holidays, but that has been a real hassle since we got back!
Getting the house in order to either paint, or wash walls, yeah! (not), lol!
Enjoying the beautiful hot weather and doing some baking!

You're soo sweet Lucia! Thanks soo much Angel!! All of my family got together Sunday to celebrate my sister & brother-in-laws Anniversary (Oct 3) and "our" B-Day (Oct 5). My: brothers / sister & brother-in-law / 3 nieces and our parents were ALL able to get together...it was really very nice & ALL I really wanted! So I guess you could say I got my wish! *wink*

Been busy with work and my cousin Walter and his girlfriend Dora were visiting from Germany. It was a big reunion for me. The last time I saw Walter was in 1976 
I took some pictures. I left my digital camera at my brother's house.

Hello everyone! Gosh, I haven't posted here for ages  But I've been lurking all the time  Seriously, somehow there was too much real life crap that asked for attention. And now there's hardly anyone around. Sigh.
Just a little update for anyone who might remember and want to know...my vertigo is a lot better and I've started looking for a job again, hoping that it will stay that way. Otherwise my ambitions would take a very embarrassing end
Sharon, I hope you've got the flu banned from your house now, at least for this winter It's always horrible and there seems to be absolutely no way to stop it getting everyone in the house 
Looks like everyone is more or less busy with the things life is throwing at us. Including our Sensei, since there's still no blog. LOL. Okay, but as long as there are some people around, this place will stay alive and that's the main thing. Would hate to see it going completely dead. It's much too good for that.

I don't think we need to worry about it dying Now that summer's ending and people will be indoors more, things will pick up - I'm sure a few of us could think up some mischief to waken things up a bit

Mishchief is a great word considerring that Halloween is right around the corner! LOL
We are mostly decorated, inside and out...waiting to see what the weather will be like.
Kids have their costumes and all the treats have been purchased...we just have school parties and dances to finish up.
Then we can start worrying about Christmas...my daughter is already rehearsing for "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Her school is putting the play on this year!

HI EVERYONE
I had a great evening at the membership gala at the art gallery where I work this past Saturday. There was over $5000 dollars raised for the gallery in the art auctions... lots of food...and champagne!
Enjoying a day off today...
