LEGEND SOCCER COMPANY
Do you like soccer (or, as the rest of the world calls it, football)? Dirk does in a big way, and it has become a family affair.

Dirk's son Roland and 2 friends have started Legend Soccer Company,  developing innovative, sustainable soccer gear (and only soccer gear). Learn about Legend Soccer Company at the link above. Dirk not only endorses Legend Soccer, he's involved with it - "and not only because Roland is my son."

Default Where is Doctor Zee Now?

According to IMDb, apparently the second actor who played Doctor Zee in Galactica:1980 went on to have a successful career in acting. He has been in movies like It's Complicated (with Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin), the animated TV series The Penguins of Madagascar, and the classic war film Gettysburg (as Col. E. Porter Alexander). And he turned out to be a pretty handsome dude - kind of like a cross between Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Here he is on the left in a screencap from 90210:

Here is a picture from Gettysburg (the only film he's in that I've seen, and it's been a while):

Anyway, I thought that was interesting trivia.

I must admit ... I've only watched one episode of Galactica 80: ROS. So I don't really know this dude. But I like trivia a lot

You haven't missed much...

Dr. Zee was a genius child in G80, first played by Robbie Rist then by James Patrick Stuart (he was billed as Patrick Stuart until the 1990's). Rist is still active in the business, acting and doing voice work, and is in a band. Stuart is the son of Chad Stuart (of the '60's duo "Chad and Jeremy"), and is apparently currently playing Valenin Cassadine on General Hospital.

With the exception of the final episode (RoS), G80 is ignored by most fans. For good reason.

End of lecture.

I'm glad I made the right choice not to watch it
I also never liked the re-imagined version. I tried watching the first episode, but wasn't even able to finish watching it ... There is only one BSG for me: the original one. So happy to have it on DVD so I can watch it whenever I feel like it

I haven't seen any of Galactica:1980 besides RoS either. I just found myself on IMDb, following links, because that's what happens when I get on that wonderful website of cinematic information.

In my headcanon, RoS is another episode in the original BSG timeline - possibly the beginning of a second season. Either way, the scenes with Adama and Doctor Zee are strangely absent.

It would have been a great start of the 2nd season if somehow Starbuck would have been rescued. I'm a sucker for a happy ending
Oh yes and no scenes with Dr Zee & Adama.

I tried to watch Galactica 1980. I wanted BSG to continue and hoped that I could get into it.

Dr. Zee is not what I was expecting Starbuck's child would be like. ....even a spiritual child.
Blond hair, blue eyes...quite the flirt as he got older. Cute, adorable, prankster....that's what I imagined his child to be like before he becomes a teenager. Dr. Zee was very intellectual and serious. If I watched more of the episodes, then maybe I could see a personality closer to Starbuck's... I just don't see that happening anytime soon.

I had the same problem with Dr Zee.
