LEGEND SOCCER COMPANY
Do you like soccer (or, as the rest of the world calls it, football)? Dirk does in a big way, and it has become a family affair.

Dirk's son Roland and 2 friends have started Legend Soccer Company,  developing innovative, sustainable soccer gear (and only soccer gear). Learn about Legend Soccer Company at the link above. Dirk not only endorses Legend Soccer, he's involved with it - "and not only because Roland is my son."

We don't get to see many of Dirk's Q&A's at these conventions, but somebody did video the one at Dutch Comic Con and it's posted on YouTube:

Thanks for posting this one, John. I really wanted to go there, but unfortunately I couldn't. Glad I get to watch his Q&A

Awesome. Thanks John!

I'll watch the whole thing when I have a little more free time, but while jumping around to get an idea of the clip, I did catch the part where he was playing around with his glasses. LOL. I don't know what he was going to say about his previous pair, but maybe he was going to mention the design change. In all the previous photos/clips I'd seen where he's wearing glasses (mainly from Big Brother UK), the glasses are rectangular, but then he was wearing these squarer (?) frames in MO. They work well with his face shape. Do the optometrists' assistants get special training to help people pick the right glasses? Or do they just take a test to see if they have an *eye* for it? Haha. Okay, I'm procrastinating now.

Well to answer your question ... I'm not an optometrist assistant, but I do know that in my profession we do learn to get an 'eye' for things like that So yes I guess they learn to do that as well.
