Talents...maybe

Well, I'm discovering (or rediscovering) that I'm much more at home working outside than in. Yesterday I was clearing rocks from a defunct pond. Today I made my very first attempt at baking bread...let's just say, the two had much more in common than might first be apparent.

My brother, bless his intrepid little soul, did actually eat several slices of my creation. And I admit, once one managed to break through the crust, it wasn't bad. Really.

But I must admit, although I enjoy being in the kitchen more than I used to - I'd much rather wield my chainsaw than my rolling pin...
