Moving Day - Part 4

It's finally here. My own place. Away from my family. Life is getting more and more peaceful. Bought new dishes, pans, and supplies for my apartment. Other than Tuesday being a really long day, I'm looking forward to experimenting with my meals after work.
End of summer. Beginning of fall. Ending a toxic relationship with my siblings and appreciating my wonderful friends.
Read Kristina's blog. It's been 11 months since I joined. A lot has changed. Some very wonderful; others not great, but necessary.

It's been a week since I started this entry. I really hate moving. I would love to have one more move...to my house...and then never move again. I completely understand why my dad wants to remain at home until the day he dies. Hoping my sister and I can make that happen for him.

My birthday is in two weeks. Not sure what to expect. I would much rather give than receive... i'm told to expect surprises. Since I will be at work on my birthday, I plan to spend the weekend before it alone in the country with my pets. It's the most relaxing, peaceful present I can give myself. I only hope the weather will still be nice.
