My cats have given me a lot of joy and laughter.
Tigger is a brown tabby with light green eyes and J.J is black/white with golden eyes.
Tigger I adopted as an SPCA rescue cat. J.J I adopted from the animal shelter where I live.
Tigger, I swear he's got a motor in him. He's got to have the loudest purr I've ever heard.

On turning fifty....

I just turned fifty and realized quite a few things about myself. Age is just a number and it does not define who you are or make you who you are. How you act and feel is a state of mind and body. I don't act my age nor do I look it. I try to eat right and exercise and I don't smoke and don't drink. I do have a glass of wine on special occasions. My Novel

I'm working on writing my first novel. My inspiration comes from the authors Farley Mowat, June Callwood and of course Dirk Benedict.
My family and friends have been encouraging me to write it. I've already written my first chapter.

I was thinking a lot about Stan. He would have been 63 on May 30th. I would say now that Stan was the love of my life. Yet, Stan would not want me to be alone. It's been four years since his death. I had a tough decision about my profile photo.
First I wanted Dirk as Starbuck, then chose one of myself and was looking at one of my cats.
My cats made up my mind for me.
They like watching television too.
They seem to really like action movies and science fiction TV shows. For some reason they don't like nature shows. Try to figure that one out!
