And then Mike would have been like "Oh great now where are we going to get the money for a new drum set?" so then they would have to borrow a drum set and work a gig to get money to buy a new one, probably at some goofy party or something for some girl. And then Davy would fall in love with the girl and her dad would be mad and not pay them for the gig, so they would still be out the drum set.

HA! Yep, that's pretty much how'd it go...then Mike would sneak back in with ropes and a water pistol and drench that girl's dad for not paying them. Peter & Mickey would help Mike while Davy would be off wooing the girl. Then they'd all get kidnapped by some thugs the dad hired.

Then there would be a chase scene and one of those wonderfully edited music videos... I'm thinking "Randy Scouse Git" from Headquarters, or to be more tame " Last Train to Clarksville" that's the kind of crazy scene it would be..... "She's a wonderful lady and she's mine all mine and there doesn't seem a way that she won't come and lose my mind" (RSG) The kidnappers would chase them with ropes, and eventually they would get out of it. Nothing sinister just the Monkees... LOL

And after their chase scene and in-between singing shots, they come to find the secret of the lightsaber and return it to this old guy, with a beard and wearing a brown cloak and this green little muppet sitting next to him saying; Lightsaber for drums not good , eh? Melt through your drums they will! A Monkee a Jedi can be when lightsaber properly used.

Whatever insane things Nacky and I come up with is all they have in common. I just used it as a muse and it went from there. We have an ongoing fondness for the Monkees Nacky and I and a number of others ....... Sigh **** Davy Jones*****
