Just to say that it's Father's Day this Sunday (15th June 2008). At first I didn't think it was the same for USA, but according to wiki, it is!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to my Dad, Dirk and ALL the father's out there !

May ALL of you enjoy some R & R on the 15th !

Sadly, my Dad won't be getting much of the R & R I'm "speaking of" above...his will be more like...(R)emove & (R)eplace...

...On May 25th ( Memorial Day ) ALL of the furniture, pics, etc. were "removed" from their diningroom and livingroom to the garage ( which they've been pretty much "living" in since ) so that the hardwood floors could be refinished...now, ALL of it needs "replaced" back ! Been waiting for the spring cleaning to be done and a weekend when my brother and sister-in-law could come to help move it all back. Sooo he won't be getting much (R)est & (R)elaxation. But their floors looks GREAT !

Mom told him he could take a quick ride on his Harley before the "moving" begain...small consulation...but he'll take it.

I want to wish Dirk a Happy Father's Day! I hope you get to spend some time with your boys!
I also want to wish all the father's a very Happy Father's Day!
We will celebrate with my husband and I will be remembering my father in the most special way!

I hope all the fathers had a wonderful time!

Btw in Holland we celebrated Father's day on June 21 - over here it's always celebrated on the third Sunday in June, just like Mother's day is always on the second Sunday in May.

Although the date and time of Father's (and Mother's) day may vary worldwide, at least the principle of honouring remains: as always it's the thought that counts!
