My two cats are my family too...
Tigger is a brown tabby with light green eyes and J.J is black/white with golden eyes.
Tigger I adopted as an SPCA rescue cat. J.J I adopted from the animal shelter where I live.
Tigger, I swear he's got a motor in him. He's got to have the loudest purr I've ever heard.
J.J's purr is really unusual. He grunts and purrs at the same time.
Early in the morning they talk to each other. It's like they're saying. "you wake her up" "no. you wake her up"
I've seen them sit across from each other on my bedroom floor and just meow at each other. It's really funny.
They're both about six years old now and act like kittens.
They know when a can of tuna is being opened. As soon as I open the fridge door in the mornings, there they are. They like their cat treats too.
I feed them mostly dry food, a little tuna and cat treats. They do like some strange things. Tigger likes ginger ale and J.J likes froot loops. I don't let them eat a lot of people food. They have to take a sniff of everything I eat. Not a close sniff. Both of my cats are indoor cats. They have lots of room in my house. And they love to lounge on the window sills. I don't believe in declawing. They have a nice chunk of wood to scratch. They also play tag. I often watch them do this.
They sleep with me at night. I often go to sleep listening to them purr.
They are not just my pets, they're my family too.
I think I'm their pet.
They give me unconditional love and I love them too.
