First entry

Trying out the blog thingy. I always have trouble with these because most of what I would write about would probably bore the socks of most people. Writing about life as I know it certainly would. Today was an exception. I had no internet most of the day, so that was exciting. My littlest dog had an infection in her foot, so I had to lance that, then put ointment and a bandage on it, which was made even more interesting by her sinking her teeth into my knuckles and not letting go the entire time. And then I pounded my head against the wall for several hours, trying to figure out how to start the next chapter of the story I'm working on - which neither solved the problem nor made my head feel great. As I said, life as I know it is not exactly thrilling.

So I may post now and then those great philosophical questions that dog me on occasion and see if anyone else is in the same frame of mind...
