Did anyone else's DVR's record Mark of the Devil this week? I watched it last night. As usual Dirk was looking great! But it was definately another strange movie.

With all the satellite channels we have in the UK I can't believe it hasn't been on here for awhile! Unfortunately all we seem to have of Dirk is TAT, BSG, Earthstorm or Abduction of Innocence for the last couple of years!

Not anymore, I think. Mark of the devil is an episode of Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense, and the DVD collection of that series disappeared from amazon's catalogue last year. But you can find it on ebay occasionally, although for quite a price.

No, it's not, I guess what you're thinking of is Demon Keeper (worst item of the Dirk collection in my opinion!). Mark of the Devil is the one where he's tattooed all over in the end. I like that one, not enough horror to scare me away, just a little on the supernatural side.
Remember the funny 'BB story' Red Eye (I think it was her anyway) put on DBO and DS? The pics she used were from Mark of the Devil. :)

I tried to rent that from my local video store - it is a set of 3 DVDs, but when it arrived, only the first DVD was in it! And of course Dirk's story was on the 2nd or 3rd one! I tried to explain that to the store, but they weren't interested! :mad: Needless to say, I've not bothered using them again! ;)

The CBB story was by Rondelle. I think there is a thread for it on the CBB sub-board here, but I'm too lazy to find it there, and I've already book-marked the original.

Oh yeah, it was Rondelle :) Thanks for the link, I've bookmarked it immediately (which I should have done back then!). The story is so hilarious, she did a great job there! :))

Your local video store is really one of a kind! I thought it was in the interest of business people to have satisfied customers :o :eek: Obviously they think they don't :p

For those in the US and maybe Canada, Mark of the Devil is coming on Fox Movie Channel on Monday January 5th at 3:30 Central time, so if you have cable / direct TV / dish network, look for it / tivo / dvr / tape it etc.

I have been trying to purchase this on DVD online

Amazon.co.uk the last time I looked at 4 copies in mint(new)condition for £66.50

A bit pricey for me though!!
