Hi there!

Any dutch fans that went to this convention? I did!!! The organistion was really bad i must say but the actors were great!!! Thanks to them i still had a fantastic day! I never thought i got to meet Dirk but now was my chance. I've been a fan since i was 10 , i was crazy about Battlestar Galactica and madly in love with Starbuck (and never got over it.... :wink: ). Later on The Ateam came on i was so happy to see my hero again that i also was a fan of that serie. But i still have the most warmest memories of BG.

Anyway....... I got to meet him and he was soooooooooo nice. He still has that charm and i was soooooo nervous at first for looking my youth-hero into his eyes. What can i say he still sweeps me of my feet! I told him what he meant to me in those days and asked some questions about some BG episodes and in the meantime he had put his signature on Starbucks picture for me saying : To Martine , it is so wonderful to be part of your life! Is that sweet or what!!? A picture with him was no problem and we kept on chatting during that and he even showed me photos of his sons and his (baeutiful wooden) house! I wished i could chat with him for hours, there is still so much i wanted to talk about and well.....he held me so firmly that i even could not get away if i'd wanted to (wich i didn't ofcourse,you can see it in the picture) and said while joking : i don't want to let you go , i'm gonna steel you away! He is such a flirt! :D But than it ended because he had to go back to work signing more autograps.

There are some pics of him on stage during the Q&A also. He and Dwight Schults were so funny it almost was stand-up comedy , so so funny!!! As you can imagine if you see the pics of him lying on the floor... I can go on and on but don't worry i won't. Dut i do think i will post this also in the meeting Dirk topic so it will not go away too soon! :)

I was unfotunately still on holiday but guess what.. I'm watching 'Pulse'right now, and there they are! Doing a tv interview. This makes me feel a little bit better about missing them last weekend.
Can hardly wait for the commercial break to be over

Hey Yvette! I watched that programme too (it was on on friday also the day before the convention) , Dirk and Dwight were so funny again together don't you think? But i thought it was way too short and Peter vd Vorst did such a bad interview! Or actually there was not much of an interview at all. I 'apologized' for Peter when i met Dirk and guess what he said? "Oh that Peter! Yeah he is an idiot he didn't have a point! " :lol: And i agree!
