It seems, that when Dirk does a con *anywhere* in the world, there are alot of members over there who go to see him and post their reports, pics etc.

There's a few over there already as alot of folks are from the UK :)

Well, unfortunatly, it would appear to be that I need an "ISP" address to sign on and from my understanding, "ISP" charges a fee. Oh, well, maybe someday but not now. After all, if I can get an email account for free...Why pay for it unless I have to.:-)

Cylon Alliance doesn't take "web based" email accounts ( like Hotmail, Yahoo etc ) because a while back they had trouble with trolls who were "cloning" themselves.
If you have a home based account ( that comes with your ISP ) then you can join.

The pics are great! Any idea when Dirk may be back in the Vancouver area? I spoke to him at Gatecon and he said he loved the area but, nothing compares to Montana. I don't blame him I've been to Bigfork and I didn't want to leave. :lol:

Yeah, my husband explained things to me a bit too. I thought from the beginging that "ISP" sounded alot like an "IP" (though I know what an "IP" address is so I knew that wasn't the same thing). Thanks for helping me clear things up a bit. Maybe I'll catch you over there sometime.:-)

I've been over there for years. It's a really good BSG board. Bit rough and tumble for some and debate is encouraged etc but a great info source. Alot of really fine folks over there.

No the upload feature allows YOU to upload pics from the gallery to YOUR puter ;)
I guess it should really say "download" LOL.
If you have pics you would *like* in the gallery, you can email them to me and I will add them :)
