Dirk will be sending some "reports" tomorrow. As you all know, they've both been *very* busy in London :)

This is great news and I hope things go well with Roland. :)

Ha, ha! :)):)) I had to laugh when I heard Roland is having trials at Southend - because that is the 'local' rival for Gillingham (nearest as the crow flies - big river Thames in between!) so it's a nice 'stick it' to Gillingham if Roland gets to stay at Southend! :)) :p

Dirk likes Southend! :o  Must be all the Essex Girls in their white stilletoes :p ;) (I think the American version might be 'Jersey Girls' ? - only joking on both parts - having grown up on the border of Essex! ;))! Plenty of boy-racers go there at the weekends - to meet the Girls ;), so perhaps its only natural for Dirk to have an affinity for the area! ;) :))

EDIT - it's pretty flat there (compared with Montana ;)), but I suppose there's the estuary/sea to look at, so may be it's a little reminder of home for Dirk & Roland?;)

Just a reminder to any Americans living in the UK (who am I referring to! ;)) that they have

"until Saturday to register to vote in the November presidential election."

Would this be Roland's first chance to vote in a Presidential election?

Best wishes
DBL ;)

Thanks for the info and I can't wait to read Dirk's reports! How exciting as Southend would be my 'local' team! Come on you blues and good luck to Roland!

Take care,

Elaine.

They did not do so well, these youngsters, in their last match.
Well, had they just put Roland in the field .... ;)
What do you think, will they be going to sack the coach now?>:)

I just checked out the first article and pic posted of Rolland. I didn't know he was black. Hmmm....must take after his mother? Haha....

Seriously, he's a very handsome boy - even WITH his mouth opened.:-)
