After reading few things about Macrobiotic (see link below:D) and also combined with Dirk's 10 questions interviewed..I think I now can understand the reason behind the new colour scheme background on DBC..and Please correct me, If I am wrong;):confused::D.

Brown = Brown rice

Black = Yin (represents Dark, Feminine and Sweet;))

White = Yang (represents Light, Musculine and Active:cool:)

That's a pretty good guess actually, but no. ;)

You see, we were originally going to do the website in pink and purple, but Dirk said "No purple, bad vibe", so we couldn't just do pink. That's too girly. So, since Dirk said on Big Brother that his favorite color was brown ( remember he said "my house is brown, my clothes are brown, my sh*t is brown" ) I thought...."hey..let's go brown!" No brainer. ;)

Ok, I just made all that up. >:)

She's lying ;) A part of the reason IS because of what she told me Dirk's colors of preference were. I laid it out in those colors... and screamed. Neighbors called an ambulance, they took me away to the funny farm. After recovery and having stared at tan and brown walls for months, I decided to go with these colors as a reminder to never.... EVER... trust an actors choices of color schemes!!!!!

(Ok... that was made up too :D )

Seriously though... I went with these colors to match my avatar better ;)

I don't know why Purple would be bad for Dirk. It's part of the 5 elemental theory often referred to in Macrobiotics (or in Feng Shui). Besides, in his own books Dirk is only too happy to share his sexual prowess on a Macrobiotic diet http://www.dirkbenedictcentral.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif. DARK Purple = sex in the 5 elemental theory so he has me baffled.
