This, to me, is a rare gem! It's the TV promo for ABC's 1978 fall line up and BSG is in it :) The ending is major cheese, but Gosh, what memories! :D

That was fun - remembering all those shows I used to watch. And yeah, the ending was cheesy ;) but the networks seemed to like that stuff back then. One thing I miss with cable - the new fall season was a *big deal* - now, you don't know when a show is starting, or even when you're watching the "first run" or a repeat, just on a different schedule. :o
But then, I'm easily confused.

No, it's not just you. I never know either. I hardly know when shows are on period thanks ot the switch 'em up line ups networks do. It's why I just watch re-runs of episodic shows like Law and Order and then stick with my DVD's or netflix. I odn't have nielson box, so no one cares what I watch or when anyway :p
Cheesy 0.o You thought The Hand of God was Cheesy :o
I love the episode and I really like it as a series ender. it as a great open ended short story feel to it that I think works well :)

Hey, What did I see??
The singing starts with Lorne Greene,
but did I also see DIRK singing??? Frame (time) 8:24. :o
And is it Richard (L. Hatch) in frame (time) 8:42 and a little before, in the back....???
What do you think?

BTW: I do not 100% believe it IS Dirk. It is a bit difficult to see if it is him.
Go to the time indication 8:24 and I mean the man on the right. It looks like Dirk (remember: it is his Starbuck-period... "long" hair and a bit younger then today (still looks great!)
Tracy: maybe you can ask him whether he sang for the ABC Line Up? Lorne Greene did! And as we all know he has his thing with music so it wouldn't surprise me...

Well I know he is singing in the last bit of this! from 6:14 (time).
I have ones actually seen that on tape but cannot find it just now. It shows Dirk, Lorne and Richard singing, And Dirk is playing the piano. Here you only hear them...
The first 6 minutes are well... not very good quality. But I just wanted to show he actually sang in those days. So maybe also for ABC...
