Anybody got a cure for cabin fever? Seriously, I am going downhill fast - it's been so darn cold forever!!! Tomorrow supposed to have another single digit high with -30 windchills and more snow. My energy levels are bouncing back and forth from pacing the floors to sleeping all day. I want it to be spring again so I can just walk out the door without putting on forty layers of clothes first...:cry::cry:

If you find that cure could you pass it on to me please? :p
It's been the same here. Brutally cold for weeks on end. The current temp outside is -48C, which according to my trusty conversion table, is -54.4F.
That's damn cold.
Brrrrrrrrr.

Oh, wow - that's too cold for human existence! I'm just getting too decrepit for this stuff.

Now I'm really wishing that Mediterranean cruise was still on :p

They sell some 'SAD' light boards here which are supposed to help with seasonally-affected disorder and cheer people up - I know some people in Nordic countries swear by them?
Or what about some authentic swedish sauna - got the guts to romp around outside naked hitting yourself with birch branches before jumping into the sauna? :D

... well just a couple of thoughts!

Wow.

I can't even concieve of the kind of cold weather you have 0.o
Cold weather in Texas as anything below 38 F and "A lot of Snow" means "The Snow covers most of the grass."

I remember being blown away when I spent a Thanksgiving break in Colorado and snow actually went up to my shins. You had this group of Texas Middle Schoolers standing around and just gawking at all the white.

. . . Our high in Texas right now is 67 F
We were 79 F two days last week.
Of course the pleasant winters are evened out by having 120 F summers -_-

And Ani - I'm keeping an eye on the weather down there in Texas - the Gulf Coast is where I intend to be next year, sleeping on the beaches :D

I'll never forget the look of wonder and awe on some students from sub-Saharan Africa (in their late 20s/30s) when I saw them seeing snow for the first time. They just stood a gawped for hours - and stood there looking up at the sky and feeling the flakes fall on their faces - and so happy! :)
