Happy NewYear to all...
How have your holidays been? What have you done, with whom have you shared the comming of the new year?
We have awoken our two kids (3 and almost 6 years old) about a quarter to 0:00 to watch the fireworks with us (Mom and Dad and my parents). It was again a lovely sight to see my eldest (a boy) just glow in the late night, glowing with happiness to share this special event. My youngest (a girl) had a little trouble waking up, but eventually also enjoyed the sight of poofs and stars in the late night sky.
So a few free holiday days are still there. Although my husband has to start work tomorrow again. With my boy I will go to "our" horse, or I should say pony. It is not ours, we are allowed to visit him whenever we want and cuddle it and work with it (for free! there still are people who don't want te get rich of someone elses need). It is a young horse, almost 3, so I will be helping the owner to "break it in". Although we use natural horsemanship, so there will be no violence involved. It is a Fjord and it is strong, but has a gentle nature. I take care of it with my son, for his benefit in self-esteem and fysical gain. My son has some problems with his right hand. He has a cerebral palsy (very mild, but it is there). With my daughter I also will do some nice things, like bying shoes. Yes she is 3 (december 20th) but she is a real girly girl: Loves shoes since she was about 1 year old! My parents are living here close by (since about a month. Before that they lived 75 minutes driving away so the kids are loving it that they moved this way!) and they are happy to watch over one of my kiddies so I can do some fun mother-and-one-child quality time with either my eldest or my youngest.
What will you be doing these days (If you do not have to work?)
Love and greetings, Zilfstar
