Swap shop?

Not sure if this is the right category for this. Nor do I know if this suggestion would be 'legal', or if it's been brought up before either, so my apologies if it's out of bounds in any of those categories. Anyway, I was wondering if we could set up a list of people who have media (like tapes) of shows or interviews, etc., and who would also be willing to make copies available to others? Business would be conducted off list, of course, so as not to clog up the works. Would that be possible, feasible, tried and failed already, or even wanted?

I'll look into it further and see what would be the best and most "legal" way to go about setting up a swap shop of sorts. I know the A-Team fandom has some sort of a lending library. Not sure how that's set up though.
Let me figure it all out and I'll get back to you :)
