Hi,

I loved everybody from the team but my favourite is H.M.Murdock. He always was very funny and creasy. but sometimes he could be very normal.
What do you think about him ? Is he realy creasy or is it a very good plan from the team to have a joker if they are in trouble ? 8)

best wishes to all members

Milailee,
I always wondered too: was Murdock really nuts or was it an act for free room and board? Or to keep out of jail when the others were sent there?

Some of his stuff just seems too convient (1st season, prison break, needing trashbags, Billie the Dog) and it seemed like he could turn the crazy rants on and off (though who wouldn't be quiet if B.A. threatened to rearrange your body parts?

Actually Murdock was not insaine , just a very creative ,and intelligent enough to make the world think it so he could protect the guys and himself from Decker. Murdock had so much fun pretending to be insaine he used it to tease the other exspecially B.A it was all part of their friendship. As we saw he could shpw a careing , loving and serious side when appropriate.

I don't have a clue. He had his 'sane' moments, like when he had to hide in the back of a car, with a dog. The dog stayed calm, because Murdock was an animal friend. Anyway, the owner of the dog was a woman and they kinda fell in love.

Murdock was sane. He was, as someone else pointed out, very creative. He was also totally uninhibited.

I've known people like Murdock, and treasured every moment I spent with them. He's my role model.

I totally love people who keep you guessing - you never know WHAT is going to come out of their mouth! I've had people say that about me, which pleases me immensely. :)

Murdock rules.

I totally agree with you!
And, after all, I think that a bit "good" madness is necessary to face the world, expecially today!!
I love Murdock!!

Hi everyone! :D
I totally agree! :D
I love that mouse picture! It's so cute and funny!
Murdock was sane. He was also very crafty and clever.
I think that really came through in the last episode where Face gets shot, this is the one where Murdock is working in the Italian restaurant.
Actually, I got some DVD boxed sets of the A-Team from my Uncle as a late birthday/X-mas gift. I will be watching them tonite. I've got season 3 and season 4.
"I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER!" :D
Sorry...I just couldn't resist saying that!

Take care,
Anne :)

Happy Birthday, Anne..did you say when it is /was ? What a great present ! When I bought the 4th season set some months ago -stayed up all night, watching them ! :D
I think that Murdock was absolutely sane.. and that his mind just worked faster and more imaginatively than some people consider normal ! How many of us have said something a bit abstract and whimsical and then been looked at as if the only 'sane' conversation has to be literal ? Most, probably !

Hi Genny! :D
My birthday is in July.
I'll be 49 this July 12th.
I am hoping to meet Dirk on my birthday,.I hope that doesn't sound silly or childish... :D
I think I would also like to meet Dwight Schultz too. :D
Some of the things Murdock did in the A-Team, still really crack me up.
Was watching "Taxi Wars" a little while ago...

Take care,
Anne :)

You're right!!
I'm maintaining it also in Dwight's forum..
Do you remember when Murdock tries (with success!) to let his friends escape from prison after their condemn to death? He went to speak with Stockwell who said (not literally, 'cause I see the Italian dubbed version) that the only really mad people were those who gave him a strait-jacket to wear. In fact Murdock had, as in every other occasion, a very lucid mind. He is clever and reliable, loyal and sharp.
Maybe the horror of the war has forced him to find a new perspective of life.. full of imagination and positive energy..in order to play down sorrows.

I wish there were more "mad people" like him.. life would be less mean!! :D :D

Hi sara! :D
Very well said! :D
I can't imagine another actor playing Murdock or Dirk Benedict not playing Face. :D

Take care,
Anne :)
