What family members/friends do you have living with you? My parents and Holly the hamster. And living only a street away and use our house as a second home are my brother and his partner and my two nephews.

Genre I’d like to see Dirk do next is…anything from deep drama to action hero, romcom to psychological thriller
Favourite foods/drinks? Fried egg. I try to limit myself to one a week but sometimes go without one. I love tender cooked brocolli, green beans, sage and onion stuffing, onions and leeks. Then after all that, a mint - lol! Favourite drink is orange and passionfruit J2O but can become sickly tasting if I drink too much in one go. My other favourite is water. People think that is weird because of it's boring taste but I like it and it is so refreshing.
Favourite word? Wonderful and gorgeous. You'll find I used these words a lot (see the converted to Dirk through answer - lol!)
Favourite books? Confessions, of course. Superbly written. Informative, intelligent, funny and makes the reader think. Also like The Da Vinci Code. Dan Brown is very clever in how he made a chase thriller out Jesus Christ.
Favourite films? Too many to list. Musicals and comedies are my favourites.
Favourite actors? Dirk, of course. But also my very gorgeous Jérôme Pradon (who I'm going to see in LOTR soon :D), Tim Curry and Al Pacino. Hmmm, 3 out of 4 of those are in their 60s and smoke. Coincidence or am I attrached to these types? ;) BTW, only just realised this when typing out my answer - lol!
Favourite music artistes? Jérôme Pradon and Peter Cox (most famous for singing King of Wishful Thinking which is the song on the opening credits to Pretty Woman)

Converted to Dirk through... Back in '99 I read an article about "old" TV shows they were making into feature films. BSG came up. I remembered the show and started searching the internet for information. Came across Dirk's "Kamikaze Cowboy" site and saw his books. Read them. The rest is history.

Converted to Dirk through... First watching Dirk in Battlestar Galactica in 1978, but years later (in 2000) my daughter and I were watching the "A-Team" and she wanted to know "what everyone was doing now". I looked "everyone" up - Dirk's profile caught my attention and I've been hooked since.

Genre I’d like to see Dirk do next is…A romantic comedy, or travel doing "shows" talking about his life's experience. But I guess that's why he wrote his books so he wouldn't have too, huh?

Favourite foods/drinks? Depends on my mood but my pleasure food is vegan Chocolate!

Favourite word? Well, it's a very stupid "word" that I made up half of it. It's "gooberfaw". No, it doesn't make any sence but it came about one day when my hubby did something annoying and make me mad and I (trying to stop cursing by calling him a dumba**/jacka**) blurted it out and stuck with it ever since. (I still on occasion call him the other stuff but I'm trying to tame myself)

If I could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why...........USA, because I have just bought a house there, but can only go there on holidays as I dont and dont see any chance of getting a visa.

If you had the power, what is the one thing you would change about the world..........I think I would rid the world of guns, ammunition and all war related weapons, would save millions of lives and especially let parents have some sense of safey for their children.

What do I like about Dirk............He is the most down to earth star I think I have ever seen.

If I could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why...........Canada, just fell in love with the place and I would be prepared to accept all its shortcomings if it would accept mine! Jamacia is also beautiful and so sad my heart breaks when i see such a beautiful country and so much poverty.

When Dirk was telling about how they got their cat (a stray who came and took over), I had to smile. My mother always used to say that stray cats would only stay if the home was a happy one. Probably just an old wive's tale, but I thought it was nice. :)

It's actually true a cat pick's the one they like and also a home.
A friend of mine has got one cat from itself... but she has got 5 visitor's every day!
There is even a cat who delivered her baby's there...

Since we lost one of our 2 cat's we have a visitor aswell... he was even trying to come in our house. But we have two dogs aswell and they don't like cat's they don't know...

Stray cats will stay if you feed them.:-) That happened to my mom twice now. Me? I just spray them with water or chase them out of the yard. That may sounds mean to some but my hubby's allergic to them so they can't stay anyway. Not to mention the strays around our house used to come over just to poop in my yard (for the past 5 years) and quite frankly, if I want a cat to poop in my yard, I'll go out and buy my own cat. And - for obvious reasons - that ain't going to happen.

Besides, I think someone called animal control on them though (all 4 or 5 of them) because I haven't seen them in a while. It saved me from finally doing it. If I just wasn't so nice....

We had a stray move into our garage years ago. A mama and three kittens. I started feeding them, and then named them, and pretty soon the kittens grew up, and they had kittens, and I fed them, and named them, and...next thing I knew we had 29 cats (in town). It was so funny. I'd be working in the yard and all these cats were following me around, climbing all over me. Eventually they got some kind of disease and died off. I was burying cats for like four months. Very traumatic. :cry:

Gues it's no wonder the neighbors think I'm nuts... :roll:

There used to be a feral cat colony here, too. I didn't know, until I saw a cat taking some chicken scraps I'd put out for the foxes, to her kitten. The mother cat was as thin as a rail, but she hadn't didn't eat one bit, for herself. I was very moved and began feeding the cat and kittens. Pretty soon the eight other ferals turned up as well. Fed them all up and managed to get the females, doctored. The males - I couldn't entice or catch. So I'd be in the garden, surrounded ! They especially liked to sleep on pots of sweet herbs which didn't do much for the herbs ! Built them a waterproof place...Eventually,after about 8/9 years, they all died off but were fat and sassy and apparently happy. Used to warm up milk a bit,for them before I went to work, in the winter. One of them, used to sit as if with her 'arm', around whichever cat was nearest to her.It's mild, here so they were fine. Wouldn't come into the house or be caught, though and too feral to be rehomed. My current cat was homeless after an old lady died, the relatives sold the house..and left the cat to its own devices. It was at least six weeks before she relaxed enough to sleep lying full length and I never, shut the door when she goes out or leave her out all night. I heard Dirk talking about his, cat. Awww! Bless him. I wasn't serious either..nor do I think he should really,rename his cat.! Nice ,when a man is great with children and animals... It says a lot.

Right now there is a lot of energy going to my son, with whome we have to go through some medical tests and all. He has been diagnosed with a very small Cerebral Palsy which affects his right arm and total movement. He is just as sensitive as me. But I am very proud of him since he keeps going. He is very strong.

What family members do you have living with you? My second eldest daughter (I have four), who is 26 and husband Ian (53).

Profession: I have done many things, but, now I am a Domestic Engineer (housewife).

If I could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why? Anywhere as long as it was on a beach. I love the ocean,but, I dont swim in it, too affraid of sharks.

If you had the power what is the one thing you would change about the world? I would grant each and every person tolerance. Maybe then we would all learn to get along with each other.

What do I like about Dirk? He seems to be just a down to earth type of guy.

If you could play any role in a film with Dirk what would it be and why?
This ones tough, could I just be his cigar so he could hold onto me all day.

Any regrets? No, I believe in living life without regret, only doing your best always.

How would you spend your last day if you knew the world was ending? With all my family and friends around me, they are what keeps me strong.

What do you value most in your life? FAMILY!

Who would you cast to play you in the movie about your life? Another toughie, Mmmm let's see Cate Blanchet, yes, she can play anyone, even crazy old me.

What was the best day in your live (so far)? I love to travel and this year I got to go too China and walk along the Great Wall. That was an amazing experience, but, there are many other days that have been wonderful too.

What would you do if: RINGGGGG the doorbells goes and Dirk is standing in the doorway? Well, after he has picked me up off the floor and given me mouth to mouth (I'll just be faking that bit), I'd invite him out the back for a good old fashion Aussie barbecue (we can do vegetarian) and a few drinks. That's the Aussie way.
