Hi Ostarella
How r U?
In UK, quite often V did do these kind of programme & v popular on the living channel....as we've got so many anciet historic sites all over here....I think it's gonna be quite interesting to see the expression on their faces fr all 3 muskateers @ A-Team.....by just being themselves role on live TV!!.
I really look forward to it if it ever happens...just kinda can imagine 3 tough guys get their hair sticking the air except Mr T, can't U?

Hi Ostarella
Totally agreed with that...to me, DB seems to be full of surprise these days...look at me for example....I've never dreamt of once or expected to get a letter fr the Legedary Hollywood Actor in my life!!(sorry to keep on & on about it)...&... there U go
I think it's mainly his 2 kids MUST have influenced him alots to make him come out of his shelf after been looking them 2 for the past 12 yrs....& I guess that DB'd feel to enjoy himself for all happening with his life right now....also he's prob. catching up with the lost time for being just Daddy then....which'll benefit all fans really. Bless him!!
GO Dirk GO...pls Do anything U want to do and be happy with life :D ..........We all DBC fans will be supporting U all along......any directions U want to take!!!!.......that's what I call...'To live yr life in the FULL.'
take care

Good job it isn't with Derek Acora  . I niether believe nor disbelieve, but I used to howl with laughter when he used to be contacted by the spirits and 'adopting 'the spirits character. Good tv though and Yvettes all right.
Ps has anyone seen the new ad for a choccie bar with Mr T 'Its got nuts'!!!!

I'm a firm believer in the paranormal, but I have a healthy skepticism of the people who claim to be "in touch" with spirits. There's a show in the US where they also investigate activities, but they tend to debunk things more than confirm - which makes the confirmations that much more "spooky". So I'm not sure about this whole thing - we shall see...

Hi Arciris
I'm pretty certain that UK Living Chanel'll politely ask for full permission fr George's family with all respect beforehand....& just hope that the Late George'll be happy to meet the remaining 3 of A-Team .I actually never watched this kinda programme before (never had enough time!!)....just reading the articles & fr You Tube.
I think I'll gonna get the A-Team set...to pay tribute and mark of respect to Hannibal..which's one is the BEST...Pls Anyone'd Guide Me :?: :?: ...been behind with this too...last time I watched it in my teens!!
And, Yes..Buddy...I've sworn to myself to live my life to the FULL since my beloved Mom passed away over 5 yrs ago.............and let me U, buddy....I never look back. :D

To be honest, I cannot see it happening, all of them in an episode of MH maybe , but not looking to connect with Georges spirit, not their style, but I could be proved wrong, :?

Well, the story's being picked up by various media now:

Just have to wait and see what happens (or doesn't)...

I don't think that it will happen. At least I hope not. I have seen the show and I seriously doubt that Dirk, Dwight nor Mr. T would appear on it.
As ostarella said, let's wait and see.
Take care,
Anne :)
Well Just to let you know Mr T is already on our screens ( in UK )for a choccie bar advert, it should be on U tube ( thanks Hitch for the info  )

Yeah, I think my misgivings stem from the show itself, not the idea behind it. I think it would be interesting as heck if it were done by someone a little more "reputable". But MH, from what I've seen of it, seems to be a lot of cameras jumping around and the "investigators" doing their best to hype things (and themselves) to the extreme. Basically the kind of people that give paranormal investigations a bad name. :(

The fact that Tracy is staying quiet on this makes me fear the worst, that the 3 of them ARE going to do it. Yuk! Btw, this isn't a hint to Tracy, I'm sure she'll replyl when she can, I don't want her to feel 'badgered'
Best wishes

Do I hear Jade Goody shuffling about? 8)
Oh God... I hope not.. :?
n Italy we don't have such a show, and even if there were one, I wouldn't watch it 'cause I'm VERY easily upset    !
I think this kind of things are very delicate and they shouldn't be tackled on a TV show.. Everyone should be very respectful as far as these topics are concerned.
Anyway, Drk and Dwightwill take the right decision!

I too will believe it when I see it.
My brother is a big fan of these types of programmes and was taken it by them until Derek Acorah went REALLY silly. Still watches them though, but is not so taken in. Me, I don't believe in 99.9% what is on these programmes. I am open minded about the possibility of afterlife but not at all in the ways spirits are portrayed in these programmes and in films.
If this does happen, I couldn't imagine Dirk believing all that the mediums say. At least we Brits get to see him again :)
And everyone is talking about Mr. T in the Snickers ad. I'm about the only one who hasn't seen it yet. I must start watching adverts inside of doing things during the breaks - lol!

Nasty comments in that link article, about Dirk . Couldn't pull a tendon, indeed ! He has thousands of women, from 16 to my mum who is 89, thinking that he's absolutely wonderful. Glad I saw it though...thanks, Arciris. Most Haunted is indeed, a load of rubbish, but if Dirk is doing the programme, then he must have reasons for doing it. I don't know what those are. It might be necessary, for him to do it or perhaps he thought it would be fun and would keep him busy. I'm not really bothered. It is unlikely that the programme could be made against the wishes of George's family. It wouldn't be worth the negative publicity or possible legal action. So I'm going to stay chilled out, 'cos que sera, sera...
I don't know what to say... :?
only one thing: all my respect to George

Hi everyone! :D
Out of respect to George's family I don't think that they should do it. I have very strong doubts that they actually will. Dirk, Dwight and Mr. T all had great respect for George Peppard and I for one think that it would be a real insult to his family, IF they did that.
So, I say I don't believe they will do the show. NOT AT ALL.
Take care,
Anne :)

I've noticed a lot of people have mentioned the "disrespect". I'm not sure I see that. I know they wouldn't be doing this with any disrespect intended to him or his family. That's just out of character for any of them. If it's being done seriously, there's definitely no disrespect there. And if it's being done for fun - well, I think George Peppard would be laughing right along with them.

I share your sentiments

Hi ostarella :) ,
of course this is a very particular topic, you know... I think anybody is allowed to think in completlely differet ways as far as these things are concerned..
Maybe you're right and I am too cautious and prudent about this idea.. anyway.. I must confess that I couldn't share this initiative.. :?
I think it's always very interesting to exchange our different opinions, expecially when we have differen points of view  :D ! Thanks!
This show is very popular in the uk mainly for comedic value I suspect. I think an A team special would be alot of fun actually as long as George Peppard's family don't object. I can't wait to see the guys back together and have a feeling it will be entertaining if nothing else.

Hi everyone! :D
As long as George's family does not object and are asked about it first, that might be OK.
I still have my doubts though. IF the show is done, it should be done with respect and not be too over the top. These shows can get like that sometimes.
That's my opinion.
Take care,
Anne :)
As far as I know nobodys been hurt by this programme and its is in my opinion a laugh, and thats how i'll assume it'll be taken. One word of caution Yvette screams very loudly for no reason  I don't think its harmed the pop group 'Girls Aloud who is popular in the uk who did a programme sleeping in haunted houses and (I think) sceamed a lot
I've never really watched that show to be honest, I've seen some adverts of it and I know what kind of stuff happens but...like others have said, I'll believe it when I see it xD.

So what did Dwight have to say about it?
HI OSTARELLA!!
Dwight is supposed to have said that his partecipation to this show is absolutely impossible: he said that this idea isn't going to be carried out and was very resolute about it.

Actually Dirk mentioned during the Holland Q&A with Dwight, that T didn't want to do it, so sounds like its not going to happen - unless something changes.
I watched the Q&A off a link someone on this site posted (sorry new at this and mean no offense by bad memory on this subject o who posted it, and thanks to whoever posted the link it was very enjoyable). You can probably still find the link in the Forums here somewhere.
You have to listen really closely as both Dirk and Dwight were speaking to different people at the end of the Q&A (rushing as much into the end as possble) but his comments are there and I am parapharsing as I didn't take down his words by line. He did say he was a bit curious on the topic but as T wouldn't do it -- wasn't going to happen -- again parpharsing the word curious but he was interested. Dirk seems from what I have read of him (never met him and my opinion only) to be a naturally curious person he thinks about the world around him from what I get from his books, so I am sure he would be interested in this subject especially after the events in ATWF concerning his own experiences. Curiosity is one of thoses things that make each of us an individual and its okay to be curious -- what one person would not wish to think on, may be a subject of interest to another (no harm -- just different interest for different people). I am sure the whole Ateam gang would be concerned for George's family especially Dirk as he is so family oriented and I am sure they would respect the families wishes on the subject (again just my opinion as both Dirk and Dwight seem to be stand up men and very respectable from what I have heard-- never met either one). Find the link for his exact wording -- no disrespect intended to anyone by my parapharsing of what was said especially to Dirk -- I just can't remember every word exactly word for word.
Hope that helps and hope I am in line with the no hearsay policy as I did hear Dirk say that himself during the Q&A (over the net) even though again I am not quoting him but paraphrasing the converstation (its in line with what was said) - see the link for the exact wording again its somewhere in this sites forums Main Dis. Area I believe. I believe I am okay with posting this as it can be verified by checking the convention link and watching the last part of the Q&A atleast as far as I interpert the forum rules -- which I did read like a good girl who is new to this hope there wasn't a rule on parphrashing as I can't remember exactly will go back and look again.
Let me know if I make any mistakes with the rules so I can correct them. as they are unintended if I do slip up be please be gentle as I am new to posting anywhere this is only my thrid post to any site ever.. I am enjoying this site and want to play nice with everyone, as this seems to be a very friendly group and I love all things DB. :D :D
Thanks

I watched that interview, and you're correct - Dirk did say something to the effect that he was curious about the occult and things of that nature. And I agree - without curiosity and differing interests, this would be a very, very dull life.
Also correct that Mr T didn't want to do it - sounded like it was along the same reasons he didn't do the reunion show. It was hard to get everything clear with the number of people talking

Hi!
I agree. I think that Mr. T is consequent, then, and this is very well, but I understand Dirk, too, because all this about the occult etc..is curious and a particular world. Well, I have very respect for this but I understand that in a concrete moment this can attract.
Regards.
