Shilpa: The Biography

Has anyone read this book yet? From what I have read (I thought the staff of the store wouldn't like it if I read it all without buying it - lol!), it's more of a mini CBB round-up than a biography of Shilpa. Perhaps her life comes later in the book. Anyway, there's two photos of Dirk in the book - a nice one of him with Shilpa and another one of the Jackson 5 band, if you can find him under all that wig - lol!
There's some parts which the author must've seen on live feed because I didn't heard any of the housemates say certain things. And of course, the book protrays Shilpa like an angel but I love reading about the little bits on Dirk when do they appear. I have not bought it because I felt there wasn't any new Dirky bits that I have not found on the web but then, I have only read a fraction of the book.
From a Dirkette point of view, is it worth buying?

First of all Shilpa hasn't lived long enough to have a penned biography and secondly, it's simply a cash in.
I wouldn't bother buying it.

I wouldn't buy it either. I'm more interested in Dirk myself. :D
I can't wait for the re-release of ATWWF. :D :D
Right now, I really enjoying reading Confessions, almost finished the book, but then I'll start it over again! :D

I knew it was a rip- off but bought it anyway. Was cheesed off. Don't bother with it. It isn't good to Dirk. I mean..one minute on CBB Shilpa was in the bathroom going on about how " ..very, VERY, sexy Dirk " is and as soon as the winning post was in sight he was apparently 38 years too old for her. By my reckoning, that would make Dirk suitable at 24 years old. Shilpa, is 32....! I think she is absolutely beautiful, comparitively intellligent , articulate and so on plus I like, some Bollywood films. However, the book is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

She was like that through a good share of it, though. That's what put me off her. Once Jade was out of there, then she moved toward the other girls and started in on him just like they did. Behind his back, of course. But I guess I can't blame her for playing the game.

She obviously fancied Dirk, but back - tracked is what I meant. I do realise, that Shilpa was intelligent enough to realise that Dirk's cheerful flirting wasn't serious..but she clearly, thought he was ace..as did I believe - Danielle, who has announced plans today for a third, chest wossname...enlargement. She's only 23. Her age, I mean.. :shock:

That got up my nose, as well ! She changed her tack very quickly....I was also put off, when she was laughing loudly, at Cleo's harrassment of Dirk ie the tarty bit. Not only wasn't it funny, it was offensive, scary, embarrassing and very, upsetting to witness. Shilpa was, treated very badly indeed, but she disappointed me concerning Dirk. :( As someone will no doubt say - it's all over now. Yes, I know. I too, am pretty Zen.

As much as I'm quite fond of her in many ways to begin with, me too won't be buying her biography with cashing-in it!!...& that'll include D.Lloyds too....I think they all have absolutely no idea and inexperience what life's really is....I think most of these so called Celebrities are so FAKE!!

So glad to join member only on this DBC Website...v proud of U all...espec. for our only Legendary, DirK..... :D :D :D ....because U're just so Real and just being self-truthful.

I can't for ATWWF to come out, I'll finally have an intact copy! :D

Two things, I am not sure if the teltext news is a 100% relible source they can get it wrong but
1 Shilpa is supposedly going into the Australian BB house.
2 She has a Film Premier here (uk) May 8th

I'm not going to invest in the book either simply because I'm just not interested. As far as Shilpa not living enough life - yes and no. True, she is a bit young to be writing a biography however, it always depends on what experiences your life entails.

Years ago, Drew Barrymore wrote a biography "Little girl lost" (I believe is what it's called). I never read the book (and quite frankly for reasons I can't quite explain - she annoys me. God bless her) but as I understand, it was all about her drug and alcohol abuse and how she overcame those things. Although she was very young at the time, she had lived a LOT of life down a very bad road and decided to write about it. So, every situation is different - as we all know.:-)

Every situation is different and Drew Barrymore I think she had lived more than others girls for his situation..When she was very child she had already made films, and his problems wth drugs and alcohol they caused that she took a wild life..I suppose that is for this her book..
About Shilpa, I don't know nothing of her life..perhaps she have many things for explain, how actress, and other things of live, but she's many young. Well, is her decision about book.
