Zork: Grand Inquisitor

Have just installed this game and will be having a good look at it tomorrow. So far I been around the town and knocked on Dirk's door but he won't come out.
Has anyone played this game before? I'm looking forward to seeing more Dirky bits in it :) From the screengrabs I have seen, I am looking forward to getting to that boxers scene ;) And doesn't Dirk look fab as an Indiana Jones spin-off.

I haven't seen that movie yet.
I'm going to Blockbuster after work tomorrow and see if I can rent it.
Dirk does look like Indiana Jones in that film, same get-up! :D
I have seen clips of the movie.

I bought it ages ago on eBay, but the only computer I can put it on (since XP doesn't seem to like it) is my son's old one, and he's still got too much stuff on it :evil: One day...

I got this game years ago and although I can't figure my way around it, my kids managed to play it all the way through.

I do know that when you enter Port Foozle at the start of the game, in order to get "Jack" ( Dirk ) to open his door to you, you need to turn left, get a plastic six pack wrapper from the market, quiet the alarm ( cuz they think you're stealing a fish), go to the dock, place it on the hook, lower the hook into the water and hook crate with a lantern in it. Once you retrieve the lantern from the crate, take it to Jack. Then he will let you in :)

Thanks Tracy! I haven't played the game for a while. I got stuck. I got the rope to which Dirk, I mean Jack was not impressed with. I shall do that and then he'll come out :D i'll let you know how I get on.
