Hi guys! Thought you might like an update about what the English press are saying (i'm one of these people that buys a lot of newspapers!)

Well, yesterday there was a story that Cleo is trying to get all the housemates from CBB to go for a meal in London together so they could all sort out there problems and have "peace talks" (or does she just miss Dirk  )

The paper says that her plans aren't going very well since Jade and Jo both said they wouldn't come, Danielle is trying to sort out her love life and Shilpa has to go back to India because one of her parents is ill. So it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

What do you guys think of this? Honestly i'd say leave well enough alone. The whole thing just needs to go away and fizzle out for a while. I'm actually getting a bit sick of hearing about it now! :D

Hi!
I also think the whole thing should be left alone.
We have a saying in Canada...
"it's as done as dinner!"

take care,
Anne :)

It was a TV game show for crying out loud.
They did their bit in the house, now it's over.
Alot of the house mates have gone home and are moving forward with their lives.
Perhaps Cleo should as well.

Exactly. That's why it's miffing me off. I mean, good for them if any Housemate came away with a new friend.. but everyone has gone off their seperate ways to live their lives now...

I'm pretty sure if I was locked up for that length of time with the same people I wouldn't want to see them for a looong time

Yes definitely let things lie for awhile.
If Cleo had any moral sense she ought to write to the other HMs, to apologise or explain her bad behaviour, and leave it at that without expecting a reply.

I had this odd vision of a 40 yr l8r CBB5 reunion, which sounds about enough time for them to all get over it! (I'm not sure I should share this with you - apologies in advance if this causes you offence, it wasn't meant to) It went like this:
Danielle - turned into a withered Bridget Bardot look-alike (coz of all the makeup she's worn in her life), has married a UK aristocrat and is called Lady Farqwhar of Tolling Booth and is into organic farming and wearing green wellies.
Jack - just been made 'Sir' for managing the England football team to its first World Cup victory since 1966 - now looks like a sort of Ray Winstone character having filled-out from his skinny youth days.
Jo - had become a successful stage musical actress, and been awarded with various awards. Now a bit of a Norma Desmond ("I'm ready for my close-up Mr DeMille") character.
Jermaine Jackson - a 90-something v old person in a wheelchair, shaking with a bit of Parkinson's disease. However he's still a professional, and when asked to do a reanactment of the Jackson-5 tribute band - he is able to stand up and do all the dance and singing routine, before collapsing back into his chair, winning the task and so allowing the rest to have some botox injections!
Cleo - branched out from her unsuccessful comedy career to become a UN mediator in international crises, her 'Tiara' character being very helpful in breaking the ice at the start of meetings!
Jade - first recipient of a brain transplant and now a successful talk show host, helping other chavs resolve their disputes.
Dirk - unfortuantely he died at the age of 89 of lung cancer (cigars!), but that hasn't stopped BB from getting special permission to exhume him just for the show. His coffin (including skeleton with the bones wired together, and cigar in teeth) is propped up against a wall. Every so often Leo goes over and has a long conversation with him.

(Ok, OK, I'm sorry it's very bad taste - what can I say except sorry I must have been drinking some v dodgy green tea for this all to pop into my head in a hideous flash moment!)

Love you all

Maybe..but I think that at present, Cleo is probably trying to contact Dirk's agent in an efffort to get a film remade ie Clint Eastwood's 'Play Misty For Me'. Dirk, is probably setting no harm to animals traps near his home, in case she turns up. I too, am fed up with hearing about ex housemates, mainly because there's nothing about Dirk. However, I'm very glad, that he has gone home, to get some well deserved privacy.

Because he knows he'll get more talk out of him than Jack. lol!

*sighs* Me too. I don't want to read about Jade, Jo and Danielle and what they are up to. I want to read about the best HMs not 3 of the most hated people in the country. Hated for now, wait 'til there's a new piece of meat for the journalists to go after.

Going back to the original message, I think this could be why Dirk originally had issues with Cleo. She's trying too hard! Why an earth would they ALL want to meet up for dinner?

Hello everyone!
I agree with Billy's comments and others who have said leave it alone!.
The show over and it's done. FINISHED.
Cleo is trying too hard and needs to get a life.
She made a complete fool of herself and has to live with the consequences of her actions. :P
Like we say here in Canada "it's as done as dinner!"
Dirk needs his rest and it's really well deserved.

take care,
Anne :)

I remember watching the Live footage one night early on into the show, Cleo and Dirk were up late and Tipsy with a couple of others and she was saying that it would be nice to visit Montana and Dirk generally....

Even earlier than that, she invited herself over when she, Jo and Dirk were sitting in the garden.Very keen indeed, she was. I was amaxed, to hear someone inviting themselves to stay with someone without having been asked. What a muppet.

Oops! Meant amazed - not amaxed !

Hi everyone! :D
It's interesting that everyone is still talking about Big Brother.
Genny muppet is too good a word for Cleo. :P
I have a word for her but it is not very ladylike to say.
I was raised to be courteous and polite growing up. One of the rules I grew up with, you DO NOT invite yourself over to someones home, without being asked first.
A major NO in my book.
Dirk is a very smart guy and definitely won't have any more contact with Cleo, especially with what she said about his son. :x
It amazes me that she's still trying.
Cleo do Dirk a big favour, leave him alone and get a life!

take care,
Anne :)

Cleo did a very unlady like thing and crossed the line.
However, I don't imagine she's still trying to bother Dirk

Hi Tracy! :D
I hope you're right! :D

take care,
Anne :)

p.s. If you're in my neck of the woods, drop by for a visit!

p.s.s. Tracy, do you know if Dirk has read the birthday wishes we all sent him?
Just wondering.......

I agree with you Tracy, but it occurs to me that the reason that Cleo isn't bothering Dirk anymore is because he is safely too far away and a jolly good thing that is, too.

Also I haven't seen that much of cleo in the *trash* mags, but then I don't read them anyway, and I don't think shes done the Guardian or the Independent either!!!
I agree in one way that cbb should die down but in another way it was the first time that Dirk appealed to new fans, and Cbb is the only thing that can be talked about for a little while for newbies.

It's not every day that one sees Dirk peel his sweater off and get into bed. I was amazed by the fact that when he is lying down with his eyes shut, he looks about 25. Did a double take, the first time I noticed. Wondered if it was because he was more relaxed, although how he could have been relaxed in there, is amazing and a tribute to mind over matter !

Hi everyone! :D
I saw that too. The picture of Dirk sleeping.
He looked so cute...
Yes, he is amazingly young looking for his age. :D
I also think he was probably too tired to notice or really care.
I'm sure glad he's outa there!
I'm wondering if he has nightmares about it...

take care,
Anne :)

Do you think Cleo might have tried to contact Dirk? To smooth things over between them perhaps. It wouldn't suprise me.

Hi Crazy Tommy T! :D
Cleo may have tried to contact Dirk. Wouldn't surprise me either.( the woman has no manners.) :x
I really don't think Dirk would really want to smooth things over with her, especially with her inviting herself over to visit him in Montana(without a proper invite, from Dirk himself) and the remark she made about his son! :x
Big Brother is FINISHED.
The way I was raised is you don't invite yourself over to someone's home, you invite them to yours first. You treat people with courtesy and respect and don't bug them.
Dirk needs a rest and is probably enjoying a nice vacation and time with his family and deservedly so!

take care,
Anne :)

I agree. :D

If she has tried to contact Dirk I suspect he's just ignored it.

Is this on the web somewhere for viewing? He does look incredibly young for his age. He's fitter than me (I'm 23).

Hi starlight! :D
Here's the photo of Dirk sleeping in Celebrity Big Brother. He's probably dreaming of home in Montana in this one.
You can find other pictures/galleries at Celebrity Big Brother. I just found this searching under Google. I uploaded this image into ImageShack.

Ohh, Dirk slepping!! He seems an angel! Noo, not seems, He's an angel! :)
One says that it is seen like is people by the face that they have when they sleep. Here there is an example of this. :P
It's lovely.

Thanks for posting the pic! He does look incredibly young in that pic. Not that he doesn't anyway, just he looks even more in that pic.
And Genny, I also did some double takes of Dirk in the BB house too. There were guys younger than he and he looked much better than they did.
