45 minutes into the movie - is it just me, or is Dirk one of the only actors who isn't walking and talking like a wooden stick? Kinda like CBB - the movie sucks, but at least we get to see him in action. :?

Didn't seem to be on in Canada. I checked and a different movie was playing. Was it really as bad as I have heard?

It was a typical Sci-Fi Channel movie - ie, sucked big time. Dirk was good, though - made a great nasty :lol:

It might work, to e mail TV stations to play Dirk's works. I had a go some weeks ago, to UK Sci Fi channel and some of you did as well. Had an e mail back saying that they had no plans to show the movie but that they'd discuss it at the next meeting. So the UK showing might be a coincidence of course but I think it's worth asking ,for Dirky things ' cos it reminds them that he's popular. :D :D :D Thanks for the links - great news ! 8) 8

It's now out on DVD, apparently. Search for "Earthstorm DVD" and it's on all kinds of DVD outlet sites. Compare prices and watch the reputation of the sites, too :wink:

I am going to check with Blockbuster Canada about that and also check out Chapters.Indigo.ca, those sites are really good and sell the DVDs at reasonable prices.

in Germany yesterday was Earthstorm at tv on RTL2. In German spoken, very funny. The original Dirk voice is much better :)

Dirk was great as the G-man - with the G (grey!) suit! ;) :))

I bought a copy of Earthstorm on DVD.
Got it at HMV.

That was very loyal of you.
I think I taped over my VHS recording of it! :p
Unfortunately I think it is being rerun again in October in the UK! :p
