Hello,

My name is Gill, and I have just joined after seeing DB on CBB. Although I remember him from BG and A Team. In fact, the only reason I watched CBB was to see him. Don't know what that says about me, but I think he is lovely. Humour wasted on everyone in the house. Lovely man, I also brought I child up by myself (my daughter). Intelligent and funny. Broken hearted he has gone home already. Surely he isn't going to disappear again!!!??? What can we do to stop this???!!!! I say we all fly to Montana now......(not really). On a more serious note, how can I get a signed photo, emailed Channel 4, and no success there.

Hi, Dirk does do some UK conventions sometimes. The best way to get his autograph is to go to one and meet him. That's what I did a couple of years back. That way you can have a brief chat with him as well, and maybe have your picture taken next to him.

I am definitely game to go to a UK convention . I think a number of people from this site would like to meet up to go. I also admit to really only appreciating Dirk through the CBB experience although I did always think he was lovely as Face man. But Hey it doesn't matter how we got here the important thing is we all thing he's handsome,witty, smart, sensitive and oh so sexy!

So glad someone else feels the same way. I do remember him when he was in BG and A team but only as an actor, I think in CBB i got to see him as a real person, but I don't think he gave too much of himself away as he was in the company of idiots most of the time, and I'm sure he tread carefully. What really irritated me was when he started talking about really interesting stuff in CBB, and then the camera cut to something else, or Ian H Watkins looked bored so they cut to something else. I would have far rather have listened to DB talk about some of his experiences when he was in Hollywood, and his general thoughts about acting and celebrity as he clearly had some intelligent thoughts on a lot of things. I think there was some selective editing at times, which is really annoying. Someone said that being on CBB is like selling your soul but for me DB showed he has soul!!!!!!!
I am from Wales by the way. Nice to speak to someone in Scotland!!

the others in there made fools of themselves whereas DB just proved what an intelligent, shrewd, witty, guy he really is.

Think we just all need to keep an eye out for forthcoming visits and let everyone else know - although the poor soul will probably take a few months to recover from his experience! I agree it was really nice to see a glimpse of the real Dirk - that's what I found so attractive - - the clips from the BB forum and You Tube are keeping me going meantime!

I hope Dirk realises how many fans he has gained in the UK! Always loved him on the A Team and Battlestar - but he revealed himself to be a thoughtful, intelligent and hilariously funny man - a wonderful thing in the world of "showbiz".

I have to agree with you... I only became a fan of DB after watching CBB. I never watch BB as a rule, but after watching the first night and ..' Honey I'm home... I love what you've done to it..' I just got hooked on the main man.. even paid up to channel 4 for the 24/7 live feed. Like you, I got really annoyed when Dirk was having a really interesting conversation and them BAM.. we were regailed with someone sleeping/cooking/eating/ yawning etc...

I too would be up for a convention visit,,
