Dirk is being bullied

Dirk i s being bulied by the coven with its new leader Cleo.

Hounding him, he told her to leave him alone but she continued.

Dirk and Shilpa were rolling around on the floor and cleo's face was pure evil.

Jo says that Dirk is on the edge and needs pushing.

Dirk is sat in Nowhere looking really upset

he said to Shilpa, i asked thm to stop and they lack respect and are vulgar everything i loathe.

i'm soo angry right now that Dirk is going through this, he does not deserve any of this at all and Big Brother should do somethng about it right NOW as jo just said they should all get drunk tonight and continue torturing him. :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

I have just joined having watched Dirk over the last few days. It was so lovely to see him as he hasn't been on our screens for a long time. I think he is handsome and dignified and just needs to keep his sanity for a liitle while longer - I just wish these witches showed him a little more respect!

By the way I am in my 40's and he isn't too old for me!

I hope Dirk will be alright for the remiaining days. The initial reason Dirk was upset is BB told him he can't smoke his cigars indoors because the other hms were complaining about his smoke. Can you guess which ones. Jack syas if he smokes it in the house he will rip the cigar out of hid mouth and flush it down the toilet. Jo says he needs a little but more topush him over the edge. Cleo refuses to leave him be. None of this should be tolerated at all. You would think the powers that be for that show wouls havel leArned something with bad sitruation over the Jade bulling. But noooo they sit back and let it happen again. I hope everyone starts up again on them and they it the news all the world. They need to hear everyones displasure till they get it.

PS. Sory if I get carried away but i'm rolyaly peeved at those womans for what there doing ans that show for lettign it happen. urrrrr! :(

Yeah, but at least the Jadettes are leaving him alone so far (funny to include Jack under that name but what the heck). Jermaine and Ian have both been going out and chatting with him, so he knows who his friends are. And he seems in much better spirits, from the way it's reported on the live update forum, even joking with Danielle :shock: I think he's just decided he's not going to let them get to him, "out-stubborn" them :lol:

Well I think the majority opinion from that show is that Cleo has gone too far. I just hope that it goes to the public vote soon. This is so hard - I hate seeing him in pain but its wonderful having so much of Dirk all day every day. I am going to suffer severe withdrawal symptoms when this is all over I just know it!

Sorry - itwasn't the highlights show but something called Big Brothers Big Mouth which has a studio audience discussing what has gone on. There seems to be some sort of consensus that the witches need to go - but Dirk just needs to be himself and not get caught up in all the bitching - he's got too much class for that! I just hope he doesn't leave with a bad view of British girls!

I saw the whole show with Dirk being bullied for the first time yesterday, and was sickened by it all. That they justified it with, "He can dish it out, but he can't take it!" disgusted me. From what I saw, he dished nothing out, and Cleo's outrage over "talking to young girls about porn" was the most misplaced piece of crap I've heard in my life! One of the "young girls" posed as a porn model :roll: I hope the witches are nominated soon! If it weren't for Shilpa, Dirk and Jermaine, I probably would stop following the show...

I'm from the UK, I do psychological Interpretation among other things and so have been commenting on the goings on in the Big Brother house in the Big Brothers Big Brain Forum.

I want Dirk to win obviously... Dirk being in the house is why I have watched this years celebrity big brother.

I'm glad to see that other people have noticed the girls have started to bully Dirk. He was the logical choice for them to start bullying after they had to stop bullying Shilpa.

I posted my views on the bullying but believe that no-one seems to be too bothered. When they were bullying Shilpa there was an outcry in India (all the way to the top), and it was all over the news. The bullying hasn't changed, it has just changed person and no-one seems to care, which I think is a shame, Dirk should get the support that Shilpa recieved from the UK and abroad. I'm sure he has many fans and is highly respected in America and Worldwide.

Anyway I've been a fan since watching Battlestar Gallactica and The A-Team as a kid so I'm sure I'll be back here often.

Below is the entry to the Big Brother forum I gave (if anyone is interested to read it):

The Hate Team

Danielle, Jo and Cleo haven’t stopped their bullying. You would think that they would have learnt from the situation with Shilpa. Cleo until now has always stayed in the background. She has favoured the ‘bullies’ but tried to keep quiet about it.

It was logical and inevitable that the girls would start to bully Dirk. The can’t bully each other or Jack, Jo is friends with Ian so they can bully him, Jermaine is black so they can risk bullying him for fear of being seen as racist, and they can’t really continue bullying Shilpa. This only leaves Dirk.

I bet that because he is a white American there will be no comments about racial bullying. Even though when people made fun of Shilpa, copying her voice etc it was seen as racist, yet the same thing is happening about Dirk’s American accent. I personally didn’t believe that the bullying of Shilpa was racist, I felt it was a personal attack on her, singling her out so that the girls could have fun and bond. I feel the same now, I feel that it is a personal attack on Dirk.

Big Brother can’t let these girls continue to get away with bullying. For Jo to say that if Dirk doesn’t like it that makes her want to do it more is just a clear sign that she is targeting him and singling him out for her own amusement. I felt that Jade got singled out as the ring-leader by the public because she is loud. Yet Danielle and Jo avoided being so vocal and just provoked Jade to react. They were worse than Jade, they just went more unnoticed.

I think that even though Shilpa and Dirk will be among the three up for eviction on Friday neither will go. Despite Dirk clearly not wanting to be in the house now. Something needs to be done by Big Brother about Danielle and Jo’s bullying, and about Cleo. Dirk even asked genuinely not to be left alone with her before she had tried winding him up.

Dirk told her to stop and said he didn’t want her doing what she was doing, she should respect that and stop. As Dirk said to Shilpa, if she said to him to stop he would stop. These girls are just clear bullies, they appear to need to target someone for there own amusement and as a bonding tool. Bullying is never nice, it shouldn’t have happened to Shilpa, and now it shouldn’t be happening to Dirk.

Big Brother will probably say it is just ‘school ground bullying’, this doesn’t make it right, many children suffer long term psychological effects from bullying, some go on to self-harm and some commit suicide. Calling it school ground bullying belittles and makes light of the severity of bullying in schools. It says that this kind of bullying is alright. What hope is their for people that suffer from bullying when as a nation we are saying that this type of bullying is OK, but if it is racist it is not. Big Brother and the people of the country need to set an example by saying bullying is wrong regardless of the type.

I have worked closely with children and teenagers that have suffered from bullying. None of them would say that what happened to them and how it made them feel was right. As a nation we need to address this. There are likely to be people watching Big Brother that will carry on bullying and not see anything wrong with it because they will be able to justify it to themselves in their minds by saying it is just school ground bullying, it’s only a laugh, nothing serious.

As a nation we should be on the side of those that have been or are being bullied. We should be setting an example of how people should behave, an example of what shouldn’t be tolerated. Not justifying bullying. I’m sure many of you reading this have either been bullied (or are bullied) or know someone that gets bullied. We need to show that as a nation we will side with the person being bullied, that we will take immediate action against bullies.

If Big Brother (channel four and endemol) continues to support and justify bullying I for one will stop watching future series and hope that so many people do the same that Big Brother can’t get sponsors (because they to would be seen to be promoting and justifying bullying) and has no viewers for Big Brother or the spin off shows

There was definitely racism present when they bullied Shilpa, but the clips that keep being aired aren't the worst of the racism. Those are bullying, pure and simple. The difference I'm seeing with the way they bully Dirk is that they aren't making American jokes or commenting on American "culture." The bullying is almost exactly the same, but it's missing the racist component it had when they bullied Shilpa. But it's just as bad, and I think you're right that it won't be noticed or stopped because of Dirk's race and gender. Cleo's little "performance" went right into prime sexual harassment territory, and if the show took place in the US, chances are Dirk would have a basis to sue both Big Brother's parent company and Cleo personally.

I have watched some of the BB5 online.
Dirk is the most sincere person and genuine person there.
Shilpa has been talking about him behind his back. That is very immature. You are supposed to treat people with courtesy and respect.
Dirk certainly would never ever do that.
He is definitely a gentleman and in my opinion deserves to win.

I have a horrible feeling that he will be evicted with Jo on Friday. I know he might be happy to go but I'm sure if he got through to Sunday he would see how much support he had with the British Public. I might be wrong but if it had only been Dirk and Jo up on Friday then he would definitely stay but now there are 5 of them up for eviction----

Frankly, I think we'd be showing more caring and support for him if he was voted out. The only way he'd be even close to happy staying would be if both Cleo and Jo were gone, and I'm not sure that's going to happen. I'd much rather see him out, go through the stupid interviews he has to, and then either go home to his family, or, if one or both of his sons were able to meet him over there, spend some *nice* time with them and then go home. He's been trying so hard to piss people off so he *would* get evicted, he deserves that reprieve.

I have mixed feelings about Dirk possibly being evicted Friday.
WE ALL know he's been gunnin' to go for some time, and God bless him, I wish it had of come *alot* sooner. However, he's made it *almost* all the way to the end and a part of me would love to see the others go before him, especially Cleo, Jo, and Danielle.
I've been LOVING Jermaine throughout ( what a serene man he is ), and Shilpa I have mixed feelings about, but bless her too, she's gone through her trials.
In any case, it'll all be over Sunday and judging by the heaps and piles of support mail this website has been receiving, Dirk can and certainly will walk out of that house with his head held high :)

I hear you - I hate the idea of any of those witches being left after Dirk, but Danielle and *Jack* are guaranteed to be there for the final vote (according to one of the innumerable "official" websites) so that bunch is going to be represented anyway. I doubt he gives a s**t anyway.

I just wish it were over for him. Nobody deserves the kind of disrespect and rudeness he has been given.

I've seen a lot of support for Dirk on the Channel 4 forums, so it's possible that the odds-makers are totally clueless. I'm hoping, after seeing Shilpa's strange reasons for nominating Dirk, that he wins. Been reading the Live Update thread, and I can't believe the harpies are at him already! :cry:
