There is 11 HM, 2 was not allowed to vote, 2 said they refused to vote. Jermaine and Shilpa like Dirk. That leave 5 including Dirk and Leo.

The girls dislike Shilpa so you think they would vote for her.

Just does not make sense. Oh course with that small of a voting group it could just take two votes to get nominated. I would say Jade may have voted for him.

Leo being nominated I understand.

It may be, too, that they picked Dirk because they figure he'd really like to go home (I think he himself said something to that effect). But given the choice of him, Carole or Leo, I don't think he's really in the contest. And it would be someone like Jade that would put his name up out of dislike...

Yeah, Dirk came off really well on tonights highlights show. Like some kind of Zen master, which he is of course. 8)

He's safe for tommorrow, but Jade has turned against him now (on the live feed) in some kind of petty argument over Whiskey.

Yeah, it's going to get really nasty now, with Jade. But Cleo was sorta sticking up for Dirk a little while ago. And Jermaine is on his side, which is a big plus, as far as the HM's go, anyway. Of course, he doesn't say a lot either. But someone said (can't remember which forum, I'm tracking so many :roll: ) that everybody's uptight just because of events, so maybe tomorrow cooler heads will prevail...

Apparently there's been some confusion over the text votes, thanks to radio 1. People may have been texting to evict Dirk mistakenly thinking they were txting to save. :evil:

Hopefully it won't be a big enough cock up to effect the outcome. Dirks odds to be evicted are 100/1.

Of course Dirk has also said that if leo gets evicted, he might not be able to stand the house much longer and walk.

I suspect he will change his mind tonight when he gets to hear the public cheers for him when the names of the nominees are read out just prior to eviction by Davina.

I know Dirk won't get evicted, but I hope he leaves. He's obviously not happy there, doesn't like the viciousness of Jade (and Lord knows that's only going to escalate). I had hopes, after he first arrived, that my fears about this would be unfounded, but unfortunately not the case. Just watched the vid "Whiskeygate", and then read the story - two totally different things. So it's the same editing BS that happens over here.

I love being able to see The Man in the vid's, and pix, but not enough to want him to stay in that snakepit.

I have done a couple of votes for Carol. You are right about the editing. Things can be shown that put things entirely out of context. You don't get the whole picture.

The atmosphere in there has definately changed in the last couple of days.

For those of you who didn't see the first Cbb live show tonight - Dirk received 4 nominations - Jade, Jack, Danielle and i can't remember the 4th, sorry. Dirk nominated Jermaine. He looked ready to leave the show.

Just been perusing various "news" sites, and so far, I've found several reasons for Dirk's nomination - from the lame "he can't understand me", to his cigars, to his attraction to Shilpa. My own theory, which I'm no longer so sure of, was that he was recognized to be a threat, but it wasn't understood how popular he is. Wondering if any other theories were bouncing around out there, and what people here think was the "real" reason...?? Could or would any of these be a factor during the remainder of the show?
