Stunts

Maybe this is already out there somewhere, but I've seen it mentioned that some stunts were done by the guys themselves. I was wondering what kinds of things, what episodes, etc...?

Star that's a good question actually.
I'm not sure about all 4 of the guys, but I do remember Dirk mentioning that he actually got hurt doing his own stunt on the episode "Judgement Day".
The second half of that episode, when the guys are rescuing the judge's daughter from the bad guys in Italy there is a fight scene and Face takes a hit to the jaw and goes tumbling backwards down a slope.
Dirk said he hurt his ribs. :(

If you watch closely you can tell when stunt doubles were used. Stunt doubles were used for a lot of the car chases and the episode "When You Comin' Back Range Rider? " A stunt double was used for George for the scene were Hanabal runs on top of the train. I know that Dirk has his pilots license I read about it when flew in the Movie Alaska. But wonder was Dwight actually flying plains in that series, does he actually have pilots license too? I wouldn't be suprised if he does!

I think I read somewhere the Dwight does have a pilots license and in one episode I swear he was actually flying the chopper. But I'm not 100%.

You do not have to watch closely! I see it very easily when a stand in is used. I do know the guys did a lot of the driving themselves. But Dirk told last May here in the Netherlands they just fumbled their fists a bit in the air, pretending to hit the other guy, but actually never hit anyone. So all the fighting is not real. The shooting is a different story. The blasts etc were dangerous although it was all in teh hands of good experts. But I overheard them say they all had their share of minor injuries on teh set. But they also had a lot of fun.

Dwight does not have a pilotslicence, he did take some lessons in a fixed wing plane but his wife mad him quite after a stuntman got killed and his manager crashed his new plane.

It's definitely Dirk who does the jump over the fence in Beverly Hills Assault.

And in Fire!, it seems to be the actors themselves on the fire engine, even when it's charging around at dangerous speeds. But boys will be boys and I'm sure they weren't letting their doubles have all the fun riding around on the big red fire engine. :D
