I don't know if I'll ever have the pleasure of meeting Dirk, so I'm putting out a call to anyone who HAS been so blessed to please post about it here.

I'd love to live vicariously through y'all. :) :) :)

I loved your report...we are big Stargate fans & we enjoyed those parts of your visit with the two from there ....that was great...thanks for sharing

I met him in Utrecht last year, and he was very friendly and amusing. Dwight Schultz was at the convention as well, sitting next to Dirk and they were teasing each other whole the time.

He was soo pleased to see I was reading his book (he must have been very impressed by the copy of my book. it felt in my bath during reading the week before i met him :? ) he even gave me an autograph for free. 8)

The guys have been in Utrecht? That's only 2 hours from here...
