mr_tea :)

The John Striker website is a promotional idea from the makers of Dirk's current film "Goldene Zeiten" ( a German production ) which is currently playing in theaters in Deutschland.
In the film, Dirk plays an 80's TV star named Douglas Burnett who had a show called "Striker".
It's fictitious. But fun :)
Hope that clears it up a bit. :)

aahhhhhhh. thank you.

i was hoping someone would clear that up for me tonight as its been REALLY bugging me.

an excellent idea, brilliantly executed....

.... btw, this new film is it a "niche" thing, or will it be on general release... for instance in the UK ?

I think it will be available on DVD at some point.
Hopefully with English subtitles or dubbed as 80% of the dialogue is German.

Don't worry, "John Striker" confused me, especially when I saw all of the "footage" and it's from the A Team!

I went to the Golden Zeiten (opps haven't spelt that right  ) website, and I am a bit disappointed it's in German completely! My German isn't very good  I'm afraid!

Does anyone know if the film is in German language completely? And will it get release over in the UK?
