It's just seems weird not seeing the guys but seeing these new guys. Perhaps, I need to see the whole movie.

Yeah, I agree.. It was rather strange hearing the music, but not the guys! But, maybe we will give it a chance..it seems darker than the light-hearted show was, but I guess that's Hollywood for you!

Actually, I thought the trailer seemed more light-hearted than what they had originally planned for the movie. ;) I'm more willing to give it a shot than I was before, though.

It's like the impostor A-Team.
I have to disagree, Tommy. The trailer has the feel of the original - something we haven't seen in a remake in a very long time.
Time will tell if they capture the essence of the original, which is what we're all after. But I think the trailer is enough to give us hope that someone besides Paramount has taken the hint and approached the source material with respect.

20,600+ have viewed that trailer but <60 have actually bothered to rate it! ;)
Though those that have have rated it 4.5/5.0.
Yeah, looks OK. Not sure about Liam's hairstyle - looks like the costume designers & hair stylists tried to keep to the style - suppose that means they don't have to redesign the merchandise, just repackage with new photos on them.
I'm so cynical! :p

I wasn't planning to see the film when I heard they were going to make it, but the trailer makes me think it would be pretty good. I agree they do seem to be attempting to capture the feeling of the show, which is nice. Hope that it turns out well. And even if the rest of the movie turns out to be terrible, at least we will get to see a bit of Dirk and Dwight in there to distract us right?
I'm also really glad they didn't cast Jim Carey as Murdock or Tommy Lee Jones as Hannibal. Don't know much about the guy they go to play Murdock but I think Carey would have put him to far over the top. And Jones.. eh.. just not right. Liam looks a much better fit even with the hair. :-)

Agreed - Jim Carey would have been the absolute worst choice for Murdock. Carey doesn't seem to know when to rein it in, and that gets tiresome after a while. Dwight knew when to get wild and when to bring it back down to earth - much more natural and spontaneous feeling.

Just watched the trailer... I might try this movie a try after all...
I not sure if this was asked already...does Dirk have a cameo in the movie?

Movie Murdock is played by Sharlto Copley. He is not an actor but is soon becoming one. He was the lead in District 9. But here's a video with him as the drill sergeant advertising his graphics company: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NB1e9og0fVE
