Hey Tracy, got around to checking out the place! So cool! Hey I found a midi file of the BSG theme and in the damnest place...I was actually looking for Marianne Rosenberg MP3s and some lyrics (both of which are not to be had) European music managers are funny about lyrics for some odd reason. Anyway I found the Galactica file. I can send it to you (or try to post it) it's a 5 min track, too so it's pretty good for being buried in some German site, huh? Now, far be it from me to question the Germans, but why do they have BSG music files I can grab (granted it is midi and not the original score) but they want to be stingy with Marianne Rosenberg lyrics? :shock:
Also, I finally looked up the George Peppard film bio at IMDB...in A-Team and Damnation Alley! I knew he looked familiar but could never understand why. I have Damnation Alley on VHS, a crappy transfer that jumps in some frames, but I've always enjoyed that movie. Dark Star is another favorite of mine. Anything by John Carpenter is prime to me. The Ghost of Mars was the last thing I saw from him and that's been like five years! Wow! I like Pluto Nash, too. Ghosts of Mars and Pluto Nash. I love that train in GoM speeding through the desolate red landscape of Mars, a real damnation Alley, huh?
It's the train, I like the train. Trains on Mars, and cars on the Moon! What could be better?
I also have some little icons I could use for an avatar...but it's a great place you got here and I'm on too many groups and forums so I wanted to say hello to everyone even if I'm not a very active member. :D
