Looks like she hasn't got a lot of hope sadly. Not really her biggest fan I wouldn't wish this on anybody.

I agree with you, I wouldn't wish what she must be going through on any one.
I pray for the future of her young children.
Not sure If I agree with the amount of media coverage she has exposed herself to willingly at a time like this. Don't think I could do that. To me it would be a more personnal and private battle, but we are all different I guess.
However I do also have another view, some of us out there believe everything happens for a reason and maybe Jades reason for being in/on Big Brother was not to fall out and start a scandal over Shilpa, and create some of the havoc that she did.
But....
Maybe her reason for being on Big Brother was to learn and listen to Dirk. In all the scandal and drama she never took the time to listen and in turn maybe missed the opportunity to learn something.
Maybe she could of learnt something from Dirk, (most of us do) learnt something not to stop this terrible thing happening but maybe to learn a different point of view in life which in turn could/would of helped her deal with the situation she is now in differently.
I wonder when I read about Jade what Dirk thinks !!
The above is my opinion. Jade were you in Big Brother to learn another way to help you deal with journey you now find yourself on ??
For those of us who do believe everything happens for a reason, does it make you think ?? It did me.
Take Care All
Warmest Regards Jo

That is horrible news for anyone! I didn't know who she was till I read this thread, but this is really devastating news for someone this young and having small children.
I also believe that everything in life happens for a reason, so in hindsight I guess her presence in the CBB house at the same time as Dirk cannot be dismissed as mere coincidental .... On the other hand, you have to be ready (mentally, spiritually etc.) to be able to learn from people crossing your life's path. Obviously, she wasn't at the time. Which is very sad, indeed. I wish her all the best.

This is terrible news indeed. I don't think she was really paying attention to Dirk in the house, but perhaps now, some of what he said has come back to her. I can only hope that she maybe took a bit of that and had the good sense to pick up his book or investigate Macrobiotics a bit more. If it's too late for her, it's certainly not too late for her children. If she wants to leave them a legacy/fortune and make sure they're provided for, she can't leave them a much richer legacy than health.

Apparently Jade is planning to marry her boyfriend Jack very soon, as she's only been given 6 weeks to live now.

Horrible, horrible, horrible..:(
I didn't nothing since two days ago I saw the new in Spanish tv. There was images from CBB5 and they explained all the success with Shilpa and racism and about Jade's cancer. I didn't nothing either Jack was in prison. On tv explained about the marriage and if it was right bring a real life like a show...Right, wrong..What means now this? Nothing..A life is in danger, this is the important.
All is very sad...
I agree with you all. I hope a healthful life for her children. They're the future.

Yes. Jade came from a poor background and had to look after her mum since she was a young child. She missed out on school a lot, which partly explains her general knowledge ignorance.
She has been working hard to try to leave as big a legacy behind for her children as she can. She reportedly made £1 million pounds on the deals for her wedding coverage with the media. Jack apparently waived any pay for him, and the money is going into trust for her children. (I'm sure he can earn lots of money in the future, if Jade passes away, telling 'Jack's Story'!)
Jack was in prison for an incident that happened before he & Jade went into the CBB5 house with Dirk, some stupid fight.
Jade apparently has about £6 million in the bank now. As was said above, 'health' would be a better legacy to leave her kids, but perhaps for understandable reasons, this is all she can leave them.
EDIT - Shilpa has called on people to pray for Jade. She was also invited to the Wedding, but couldn't make it as she was filming in India (by necessity, the Wedding was arranged at very short notice!).
Some people, as Arciris says, are surprised by the way Jade lives her very personal life in public. But she has never had any embarrassment or perception of a 'private life', so for her, if she can earn (lots) of money from having a camera there, why not. It was part of her appeal by the general public who could see no 'fakeness' in her unlike most of us who will try to present our 'good side' of ourselves when for example meeting new people, job interview, etc. After a few days in the Big Brother house, it is difficult to keep this good side up, and the 'real' person is shown.
It's really great that Dirk was able to go in so cheery and happy and maintain that all the way through (apart from the odd attack). :)

Deebee, thanks for explain things about this disease. I didn't know at all. Shilpa and Dirk are two great people and I'm sure they understand the situation. Very well for them!
I hope Jade's sons can to have the future they deserve. I'm sure this will be "yes".

Just some further news about Jade and Shilpa.
(OK, before anyone complains about more posts about Jade :(, I think the subject area of this thread is clear enough - the clue is in the title so to speak - and if one is not interested in this subject, may I suggest you not click on the thread?;)).
Jade has been quite ill, in and out of a hospice. She does not want her young children visiting her in the hospice, so has made efforts to stay at home as much as possible. She is now in a lot of pain, failing eyesight and heavily sedated.
Shilpa had filming commitments earlier in the month, and was unable to attend Jade & Jack's wedding. However she is coming over to London this week, principally to visit Jade. However Jade is v unwell and Shilpa won't now be allowed to visit (according to Jade's publicist Max Clifford). Shilpa totally understands and wishes Jade well.
EDIT - Michael Jackson rang Jade a week or so ago to wish her well.

Thanks for letting us know! I did see that on the BBC this morning. I hope her family can have some time to themselves, now so that they may help her children.

RIP Jade. I still can't believe how fast the end came for her.
Tragic.

It is always v sad news when some dies, more so when the person has young children, and when the death was from awful horrible big C :(
But, I don't think it is right to say the end came fast.
Doctors first noticed abnormal cells when she went for her first smear at 15. They removed them then from her cervix (I think laser ablation?) and again a couple of years later. At those times the doctors would (should?) have explained to her the risks of pregnancy and of cervical cancer and what to look out for. She had her 2 boys (against doctors advice) and then also got some bowel complications. Sadly her 3rd pregnancy (v much against doctors advice as they had wanted to give her a hysterectomy, but she wanted to have a daughter) ended in late miscarriage, presumably in part due to the weakened cervix. Again after the pregnancy the docs wanted to remove her womb, but she refused as she still hoped to have a girl. Alas the sad news came on Big Boss that she had secondary uterine cancer and the docs needed to remove her womb (and I think ovaries?). It took 3 weeks before this was done (at a time when I guess every second counted, don't know if that was down to Jade hoping for a different solution or hospital arrangements etc?).

From my personal POV it was fast, because I didn't have all this background info. The 9 months between the diagnosis and her death didn't feel very long. Like many other people I wouldn't have known her, if it hadn't been for CBB. She had to deal with the consequences of her actions like everyone else, but mostly the consequences of misjudgement (or ignorance? I'm not sure) are not so terrible.
I don't know what kind of mother she was, but I'm feeling very sad for her little boys, who will have to grow up without her now.

I'm no medical expert but it sounds like some prevention could have happened there.

Very much - sounds like she made her choices and had to deal with the consequences.
