Thanks everyone! :D Had a very peaceful day, watching tapes, DVDs, curled up in a nice warm blanket on the couch, dogs actually behaving themselves (well, for the most part ;)). So many nice birthday wishes - made my day very special :)

Aw shucks, I canīt believe I forgot to send my best wishes, despite the reminder I set in Outlook! So sorry! Nevertheless, belated Happy Birthday and all the best for you!

And with reference to another conversation (I hope you'll know what I mean, but I still don't know how to post links there) - as good as it gets without Photoshop ;) :p:

The birthday card hubby received from his parents last year read:

Have a great day, light the candles on your birthday cake - and have a barbecue.

:)) :)) :p

(Okay, he still had some more candles than you ;))

I remember for my dad's 75th birthday, we had an antique cake plate that had candle holders all around it. So, not even thinking, we put the cake on the plate and filled the holders with all 75 candles... it actually created a vacuum effect. :o Needless to say, we put it out as quickly as possible (can't believe the heat that generated) and managed to salvage the cake, albeit with rather drippy frosting... :p

Maybe at our ages, we should just use the candles that are shaped like numbers or just 1 candle for good luck in that year!
No matter how many candles on the cake, everyone should appreciate their ability to get up, haha....I'm almost 4 times my son's age and I can out run him still...and I have a bad knee!
You are never too old, enjoy!

I think my biggest problem is my mind is saying 20-something but the body is not quite in agreement. ;)
